Technically it’s Light Blue Metallic (or Light Blue Poly in some places).
It just needs some backdated
bumpers, although these don’t look like the massive ones I had on my 78....was there an in-between version before the bigger impact bumpers?

Yes...I am looking now, I didn’t realize there was anything in between the early 240 and massive 280 (US). The ones above are fine to me as well.

Midway through 74 they went to the thicker bumper. This looks like a standard early post 74 bumper....taken at a flattering angle.

If you remove the rubber corners that c ontour around under the headlight they look hideous . That rubber corner has about a 10-15 year shelf life before it disintegrates.

The body shell around the headlight will disintegrate a year or two before that, so that’s about right from a design standpoint!
